NCL has doubled in size in the last 10 years, and further expansion is one of our top goals, making this unique mother-daughter experience available in every community from coast to coast.

NCL mother and daughter members volunteered a cumulative total of 966,056 hands-on hours directly with philanthropies in their communities in the 2008-2009 fiscal year. Using the 2008 published statistic that each volunteer hour is worth $20.25, NCL Chapters provided a value of $19,562,634 to communities nationwide!

NCL was founded in 1947 in Los Angeles, California. Our organization is the only mother-daughter volunteer force of its kind serving local communities together.
The Magnolias Chapter
The Magnolias is one of four NCL Chapters in The Woodlands, Texas. The first board meeting was held on September 15, 1998 and the first official chapter meeting of The Magnolias was held on September 28, 1998. The Magnolias Chapter was officially chartered in 2000. Today, The Magnolias’ membership has grown to over 250 Patronesses and Ticktockers serving the community in over 30 philanthropies.
